Depar(Fu)tures

Marc-Arthur Sohna, Sunwoo Lee, and Gabriela Luchetta, three artists from Cameroon, South Korea, and Brazil living in Geneva, explore migration as a multifaceted process of loss, transformation, and belonging through artistic practice. Drawing on biographical and intergenerational perspectives, they develop participatory formats that make personal stories visible and audible. At the core of their work lies the question of how experiences of departure, fragmentation, and new beginnings are passed on across families. This results in sensitive works in public space that foster listening and understand urban diversity as a dynamic process of negotiation.
